Principal's Message

A Message To Our Westfall Community
Billy Dennis

Students, parents, staff and community members,

Welcome to Westfall High School for the 2019-2020 school year! I continue to be excited and honored to serve as principal of a high school so rich with tradition. As I begin my twelfth year with the district, I am very much looking forward to continuing my work with the students, community, and staff to ensure that Westfall High School is a place that empowers students to succeed.

This high school has a highly committed faculty and staff that are strongly supported by a dedicated community. We are going to take every opportunity to take advantage of, and develop, our community partnerships in order to expand the learning options for our students.

Students and parents should note that the bell schedule will be slightly different from recent years.  The student day begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 2:30.  Class times will remain nearly identical to previous years, however our lunch schedule will be different.  This year, we will have an open style lunch hour during which students will be able to eat lunch and then engage in a variety of activities.  These will include various clubs, tutoring, study groups, and seeking individual help from teachers.  Two days each week, students will be engaged in learning what we call life-ready skills.  These skills are being taught by our teaching staff and may include anything from basic home and car maintenance to basic banking skills.  We are excited to be able to offer some of the basic life skills our students need to be successful in their transition to life after high school.

The high school is committed to serving the students and community. By working together as partners in education, we will be able to ensure the students of Westfall receive the best education possible. Your feedback and input are greatly appreciated and welcome. If you would like to offer suggestions, ask questions or just get involved, contact us at 740-986-2911. You may also share your thoughts by sending an e-mail to me at

I would like to personally thank you for your continued support. Please continue to check our website for new information and upcoming events. Our website represents our commitment to connect and engage with our school, parents and stakeholders.
