Landis joined the administrative team at Westfall Local School District on
August 1, 2017 as the superintendent.
previously served as superintendent of the Bloom-Carroll Local School District
from February 2012 until coming to Westfall. Landis has twelve years of
experience as a high school principal and also has experience as a high school
assistant principal. Classroom teaching experiences include teaching social
studies courses at both the high school and middle school levels.
Landis earned his undergraduate degree in education at the Ohio State
University and earned a M.Ed., and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the
University of South Carolina. He is an active member of the Buckeye Association
of School Administrators, Coalition for Rural and Appalachian Schools, and
teaches post-graduate courses as an adjunct professor at Muskingum University.
