Louisville—Westfall FFA Chapter member Macie Wippel recently received the American FFA Degree. The degree, which represents the highest level of achievement for FFA members, was conferred on Wippel at the recent National FFA Convention held in Louisville, KY.
Wippel, who served as the Westfall FFA Chapter President in 2011-2012 is currently a student at Purdue University where she is majoring in Agricultural Education. Wippel’s supervised agricultural experience program included a swine breeding herd.
Wippel received a gold American FFA Degree key and a certificate in a blue leatherette frame to commemorate the achievement. The American Degree is a national program that is sponsored by ADM Crop Risk Services, Case IH, DuPont Pioneer, Elanco, Farm Credit and Syngenta as a special project of the National FFA Foundation
The Westfall Agricultural Education Department is a satellite program of the Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
