Our seventh-graders will participate in a COSI-led workforce development program, COSI Roadshow, on Monday, December 15.
During this two-hour experience, students will meet local businesses, explore careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) and related fields using VR headsets, and participate in hands-on activities. We're looking forward to this exciting and unique experience for our students!

Twelve school districts within the Paint Valley ADAMH catchment area—covering Fayette, Highland, Pickaway, Pike, and Ross counties—participated in this year’s contest. One winner from each school received a $100 prize, and one winner from each county earned a $500 scholarship that can be used toward any accredited college or university.
Emma’s essay was chosen as the $100 school-level winner and also selected as the county-wide winner, earning her the $500 scholarship. Her essay focused on healthy choices individuals can make to remain drug-free, and she credits her Language Arts teacher, Mrs. Trivette, for inspiring her writing.
WMS students are invited to join the Breakaway Zone for an exciting Mobile Mystery Escape Room hosted by All In Adventures. The event, sponsored by PARS and PAAC, takes place on November 21 from 6–8 PM at the Pickaway County YMCA and will include open gym games and pizza.
