PARS is hosting the Breakaway Zone summer program for middle school students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, offering free snacks, fun activities, and a safe space every Monday from June 16 to July 28, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Sessions will be held at the Pickaway County ESC Mound Street Gym (424 E. Mound St.) on June 16, 23, July 7, 14, and 28, and at Circle City Events & Fun Center (128 Morris Rd.) on June 30 and July 21.
Parents must register by scanning the QR code on the flyer or by visiting https://tinyurl.com/3mycpjz5 and are required to sign students in and out. The entrance to the Mound St. Gym is located behind the building near the parking lot labeled “School Entrance.”
The program is funded by ADAMH and the OneOhio Recovery Foundation.

Yesterday was our PBIS Incentive Day! Our students had a blast working at different stations throughout the day. There were art classes, board and card games, a kickball tournament, and even a FOAM PARTY! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success! It was a fun finale to the school year!
Mr. Brown's 7th-grade Social Studies classes stepped back in time with hands-on learning by building their own ancient aqueducts. This STEM project challenged students to design the most efficient system using water pressure and the force of gravity.
In another creative twist, students taped drawing paper under their desks to experience the artistic challenge Michelangelo faced while painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Innovation and imagination were flowing in every direction!
REMINDER: Westfall Local Schools will have a 2-hour early dismissal for students on Thursday, May 22, to kick off summer break!

This week, Mr. Ater’s 7th grade science classes launched their homemade rockets into the sky! Each student crafted their own rocket from a 2-liter bottle, carefully designing and balancing it to achieve the longest possible flight time.
The tour continues for our 8th graders in Washington, D.C., as they explore some of our nation’s most iconic landmarks with stops that include Mount Vernon, the Washington Monument, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, and the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial.
