Athletics at Westfall MS this week

Congratulations to our Staff Members of the Month! Staff members nominated Jerry Mathewson and Robbie Walisa for their leadership in the building.
Robbie does an amazing job of keeping our building clean for the students and staff every day. She always steps up whenever needed to ensure the job gets done. We are very lucky to have Robbie serving in our building!
Jerry is a quiet leader at WMS. We are so thankful for Jerry's leadership and the time he takes to plan the Washington, D.C., experience for our 8th graders. It is a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience for many of our students!

This morning, Jacob Welter, Event Manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, visited our students to share the history and mission of the organization. The organization creates a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving treatment at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
Mr. Welter spoke of the many opportunities for involvement to support RMHC, including donations through McDonald's drive-thrus and a pop-tab initiative. The students were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions and interested in efforts to support this important cause.
In an effort to help, Westfall Middle School will host a pop-tab drive from now until winter break! Will you join us in making a positive impact? Start saving your pop tabs to send in with your student! Donation containers will be located by the front office.

We’ve been having a blast embracing the spirit of Mustang PRIDE! What is Mustang PRIDE? It stands for Prepared, Respectful Individuals Determined to Excel! Students and teachers who exhibited these qualities recently came together to “strike a pose” to highlight how awesome it is to be rewarded for the positive behaviors we strive to encourage every day.
Mustang PRIDE is part of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) and is more than just a program; it's a commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. Our teachers also receive recognition for their contributions to our students’ success.
As we continue implementing Mustang PRIDE, we ask that you keep the momentum going! Celebrate those positive behaviors, support one another, and make our middle school the best it can be!
